Who We Are

Susan Andrews Thompson founded The Andrews Agency in 1990 as a public relations, event management and advertising firm. Previously she was vice president of Bill Hudson & Associates, a Nashville advertising and public relations firm where she worked through college until forming her own company. Her experience there included managing public relations accounts such as McDonald's Corporation of Middle Tennessee, Northern Alabama and Southern Kentucky; Country Music Hall of Fame; Barbara Mandrell Celebrity Softball Classic, Sara Lee Classic, Twitty City and others.

In 1995, The Andrews Agency merged with The Ingram Group for two years where Andrews managed the public relations division. In 1998, The Andrews Agency was reformed with previous clients and staff. The agency's strength is in creative planning, strategic planning, media relations, public relations, event management and crisis management.


Susan Keel joined Andrews in 1990 and is now a vice president of the firm. Her background included working for The Tennessean and former U.S. Senator Jim Sasser. She has experience working with the music industry, entertainment industry, performing arts, retail, food service and business-to-business clients. She has an excellent relationship with the media and is an ace at placing positive stories for various clients.
